The Akyra II from La Sportiva is a women's trail running shoe in red, built for rough paths. The upper is reinforced and stands up to contact with scree and roots, the sole grips on the way up as well as down, and the midsole cushions over longer distances. The waterproof version keeps out rain and wet grass without making the shoe feel stiff.
