Answers about the store, rental, postage, service and returns.
Where is the store, and is there parking?
Mountainspirit is at Zwölfmalgreiner Straße 8B, 39100 Bolzano. Right in front of the store there are 3 to 4 free parking spaces.
When are you open?
Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 18:00, Saturday from 09:00 to 13:00. Closed on Sunday.
How does the rental work?
You book online on the rental page and pick up the equipment at the store in Bolzano. At check-in you take a photo of the front of your ID, the photo is mandatory. You read and sign the rental contract on your phone.
How much is postage, and from what amount is it free?
Within Italy postage is 7 euros and free from an order value of 55 euros. To the other EU countries it is 14.99 euros and free from an order value of 150 euros.
Can I order online and collect in the store?
Yes. At checkout choose pick-up at the store in Bolzano, it is free. Your order is usually ready within 24 hours, we will let you know. Bring your order confirmation and an ID.
Do you offer ski service, and what does it cost?
Yes. Ski service costs 55 euros, skin care 19 euros, skin re-gluing and waterproofing 39 euros, binding mounting on skis bought elsewhere 39 euros. All prices are on the service page under ski service.
Do you resole climbing shoes?
Yes. A half sole costs 35 euros, a full sole 39 euros (Climbing XS-Grip, XS-Edge and Vibram). Resoling takes 2 to 3 weeks, and we check the shoes in the store before sending them off. We also resole mountain boots, prices are on the service page under resoling.
Do you repair clothing, backpacks and sleeping bags?
Repairs to clothing, backpacks and sleeping bags are done by our partner Einstein Repair. You order them directly from the Einstein Repair repair service (opens in a new tab). If you need a hand, come by the store.
How do I reach a mountain guide?
On the mountain guide page you find certified mountain guides. You send your enquiry directly from the page.
Are there events?
Yes. Runs, courses and talks with date, place and registration are on the events page of Mountainspirit.
How do I contact you?

How do returns work?
You can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days. How it works is in the refund policy of the shop.
Which mountain sports do you have gear for?
For ski touring, climbing, via ferrata, trail running, high alpine and mountaineering, hiking and trekking. Advice is available in the store in Bolzano.
