The Alpine Light Comp Mid Socks W from Ortovox are technical mid-height women's socks for mountain tours, here in Dusk Rose, a muted pink. They combine fine merino wool with light compression: elastic synthetic fibres support the muscles and delay fatigue, while the wool regulates moisture, dries quickly and breathes. The ergonomic left and right fit, an ankle stabilisation zone and flat seams prevent slipping and pressure points. Moisture channels and a ventilation system on the shin provide extra airflow, and the heel and toe are padded.
