Alexander Rabensteiner from Klausen has been regarded for many years already as one of the best ultra runners in South Tyrol. Besides his wins in countless races, he is also known for his projects. His latest adventure: to climb the seven highest peaks in the seven districts of South Tyrol and to cover the connecting stretches by road bike - and all of that in just 4 days.

Here once again the data and figures of the undertaking

🏔️ Langkofel (3,181 m) day 1

🏔️ Dreiherrenspitze (3,499 m) day 1

🏔️ Hochfeiler (3,510 m) day 2

🏔️ Hirzer (2,781 m) day 2

🏔️ Ortler (3,905 m) day 3

🏔️ Hintere Eggenspitze (3,443 m) day 4

🏔️ Schwarzhorn (2,439 m) day 4

In total the 50-year-old needed only around 91 hours for 674 kilometres and 11,867 by road bike as well as 104 kilometres and 10,813 kilometres on foot. 3-4 hours of sleep a day

Alexander Rabensteiner reports that everything went according to plan: " Apart from a short shower on the Hirzer the weather luckily held the whole time, on top of that I never had any health problems and on the equipment side everything was in order too. That is the only reason I was able to reach the goal on schedule."

The endurance athlete was accompanied by friends and acquaintances in turn. These companions were fundamental over the course of those days. "At the start I completely underestimated how important my friends were on the individual sections. They pushed me and kept giving me new motivation. Without them I probably would not have made it onto every peak. A big thank you goes especially to Roland, who supported me perfectly the whole time. Without that person I trust, the project in this form would not have been feasible."
